Know What Your Lamp Delivers.
E-ABI helps reptile keepers check UVB lamp output at the actual basking zone — not by guessing from brightness, but by measuring UVI plus separate UVA and UVB intensity.
- ✓ UVI + separate UVA and UVB readings
- ✓ Check UVB lamp output at different distances and positions
- ✓ Record and review up to 33 measurement points
- ✓ HOLD the current reading for easier notes or photos
Lamp output changes with distance and position.
A UVB lamp label tells you what the lamp is designed to produce. E-ABI helps you check what reaches the measurement point inside the actual setup.
Measure at the basking area, compare another position, or repeat the same test later to monitor changes in lamp output.
Record & Review 33 Points
Each measurement point is stored as one screen. Measure another location, save it, and continue through your setup.
Useful for comparing basking areas, lamp distances, different positions, or repeating the same measurement pattern later.
Fast & Easy Operation
Dedicated physical controls make it easy to measure, switch functions, hold a reading and record a test point.
UVI, UVA & UVB
UVI is a weighted UV Index. UVA and UVB are radiation intensity measurements.
UVI is influenced much more by UVB
UVI is a weighted UV Index rather than a simple UVA + UVB total. UVB contributes much more strongly to the UVI value than UVA.
E-ABI provides both the easy-to-read UVI value and separate UVA / UVB intensity information from the same measurement position.
Wide Measurement Range
Built for practical UV lamp testing across a wide range of output levels.
More Useful Measurement Details
Know what the UVA measurement is calibrated for and choose the UV intensity unit you prefer.
UVA Calibrated for 365nm LED
For best UVA measurement results, use the UVA function with 365nm LED sources. It is not recommended as a reference measurement for 385–405nm LEDs.
Switch UVA / UVB Units
Display UVA and UVB radiation intensity in μW/cm², W/m² or mW/cm².
Important UVA Measurement Note
E-ABI's UVA function is calibrated using a 365nm LED source. For best results, use this function for measuring 365nm LED sources. Measurements of 385–405nm LEDs should not be treated as equivalent reference measurements.
Built Around Reptile UVB Lamp Checks
Choose the instrument based on the UV source and the measurement task.
E-ABI is a strong fit when you want to:
Check UVI and separate UVA / UVB intensity from reptile UVB lamps, compare basking positions, test different distances, record multiple measurement points and repeat the same checks later.
Need UVC Measurement?
E-ABI is designed around UVI, UVA and UVB measurement. It is not positioned as a UVC / 254nm measurement instrument.
Stop Guessing What Reaches the Basking Zone.
Measure UVI, UVA and UVB, compare different locations, and save up to 33 measurement points with E-ABI.
