No. A panel-mounted SPD and point-of-use surge protectors can serve different roles. A layered protection approach may still include appropriate plug-in protection for sensitive equipment.
Can I install it myself?

What do the two green indicators mean?
When both status indicators are illuminated, the protection status is normal. If only one is illuminated, or neither is illuminated, the unit should be inspected and replaced as directed by the product instructions.
Does the app require 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi?
Yes. The product is designed to connect through a compatible 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for app-based viewing and notifications.
